Ngern Tid Lor executives opened a space for employees to “dare to try with purpose” through the TIDLOR AI Hackathon activity with the concept of “License to Fail.” Connecting over 70 Ngern Tid Lor people to experiment and generate over 140 ideas for applying AI based on principles:

  1. Desirability – Do customers or users really want it?
  2. Viability – Is it worth using in business?
  3. Feasibility – Is it possible to do with existing technology?

It also provides an opportunity for every applying team to have a space to learn, increase skills related to the project they want to do, and have a Sandbox or space to think and do for real. Working with Mentors who provide advice from various perspectives and help assess the real feasibility of the project increases the chance for the project to Scale Up and be used practically in the organization.

Many ideas from this stage have been developed into systems actually used in the organization, such as:

  • AI Agent selecting automatic OCR Engines suitable for each document type.
  • Conversation Assist to increase chances of closing loan/insurance sales over the phone.
  • Chat Commerce that answers customer questions and helps close sales more accurately.

 

AI Gangster Community: Unlocking Potential Together

To create a comprehensive and all-around Learning Ecosystem in the organization, the AI Community was established as a space for all employees to learn together with the AI Gangster. This is a group of employees with knowledge, interest, and aptitude in AI technology who volunteer as "coaches" and support teams to consult fellow employees interested in developing AI skills for practical application in work.

The organization's learning and development are thus driven by the power of learning and sharing opportunities with colleagues, taking the organization to grow together at the same time.
