Ngern Tid Lor Public Company Limited or TIDLOR by Ms. Nipa Vanichvat (4th from right, front row) SVP - CSR led the Ngern Tid Lor team to open the house to welcome high-level executives from the course “KU Change Agent Readiness Executive Program” or “KU CARE”, a course for organization leaders, government, and private sectors helping to define guidelines for driving sustainable business under the concept BCG: Bio-Circular-Green and SDGs: Sustainable Development Goals. This consisted of 14 people from various sustainability building agencies such as Kasetsart University, Thai Vegetable Oil PCL, TQM Alpha PCL, Project Planning Service PCL, Acumen Consulting (Thailand) Co., Ltd., to exchange concepts and tell stories of sustainable business development under frameworks of both ESG : Environment, Social, Governance coupled with SDGs: Sustainable Development Goals to create understanding of Ngern Tid Lor PCL's sustainability building guidelines the most. This is considered an important strategy used to build strength and sustainability in Ngern Tid Lor PCL's business operations. The activity was held at Ngern Tid Lor PCL Headquarters, Ari Hills Building recently.
The KU Change Agent Readiness Executive Program or KU CARE is a course for organization leaders helping to define guidelines for driving sustainable business under the concept BCG: Bio-Circular-Green and UN SDGs: Sustainable Development Goals which Ngern Tid Lor PCL participated in. In 2022, Ngern Tid Lor PCL was raised as a case study for both business operation and social sustainability building under SDGs concept by focusing on creating knowledge opportunities and promoting education continuously, believing that knowledge opportunities will help people in society have better lives sustainably. The unit CIIP – Center for Impact Investing and Practice was established by Temasek Trust, Singapore Management University (SMU). Additionally, products “Tidlor Card” and “Ngern Tid Lor Application” were developed so loan applicants can access funds when needed anywhere, anytime, and help reduce travel to use services at branches, including reducing paper usage volume, which contributes to reducing carbon dioxide emissions as well.
Throughout the business operation period, Ngern Tid Lor PCL or TIDLOR has intended to operate business to create financial opportunities for the public, especially low-income groups or independent career practitioners (underbanked), and also aims to promote public access to insurance coverage more. Additionally, it prioritizes social sustainability building under the concept SDGs: Sustainable Development Goals by aiming to create financial knowledge opportunities and supporting basic education, believing that knowledge opportunities will help people have better lives sustainably.
