“Ngern Tid Lor” launches debt suspension measures for principal repayment and interest waiver for loan customers affected by the floods in Songkhla province for up to 6 months. Loan customers affected by floods in Songkhla can inquire about the debt suspension measures by January 31, 2026, or ask for more details at the Call Center number 088-088-0880, 24 hours a day.
These debt suspension measures are in line with the Bank of Thailand's policy. Helping customers suspend installment payments for both principal and interest is considered an alleviation of financial burden for customers, allowing them to fully use their existing capital to restore their homes and assets damaged by the floods.
Mr. Piyasak Ukritnukun, Managing Director of Ngern Tid Lor PCL, stated that following the flood incident, Ngern Tid Lor has already implemented urgent measures to initially suspend debt payments for over 4,000 loan customers in the Songkhla area (data as of Jan 9, 2026). Additionally, the executive team traveled to Hat Yai, Songkhla, to study the problems and impacts on customers closely, including assessing damages, recovery capabilities, impact on income, and various needs, to plan assistance for customers and people in the affected areas so they can regain their footing and let life roll on.
