Ngern Tid Lor’s technology developments include:
- Enabling customer services in branches with application development and iPad support to provide quick and convenient access to services, so more customers are served.
- Using data to support marketing promotional activities to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
- Enabling technology investment via smart phone by launching Ngern Tid Lor application for end users. The application has been well-received with 144,000 downloads within two months and over 500,000 subscriptions.
The awards testify to Ngern Tid Lor’s commitment to easing business into the new era by enabling opportunities to gain equal access to financial services for everyone in society.
The Asian Banking & Finance Awards comprise Wholesale Banking Awards 2021 and Retail Banking Awards, the category under which Ngern Tid Lor has been awarded Finance Company of the Year.
The awards are recognised as the most prestigious banking and finance awards in Asia. So far, awards have been presented to over 140 financial institutes in 31 countries in Asia.
Ngern Tid Lor is the sole micro-financial institute in Thailand to receive an award this year.
