A team of Ngern Tid lor volunteers have organized the 32nd “Financial Knowledge to Communities for Life Rolls Forward” activity at Pang Mu Community, Mae Hong Son province. The activity focused on the topic of “Saving Money is Easy, Anyone Can Do It” to provide basic financial and debt management knowledge to community members through fun and engaging activity-based learning, which allowed them to easily understand the literacy content, and to apply it in their everyday lives.
About the “Financial Knowledge to Communities for Life Rolls Forward” Project
Ngern Tid Lor, as a leader in the vehicle title loan business and an insurance broker with branches nationwide, aims to create financial opportunities for low-income and self-employed customers in order to access fair and transparent sources of funding. We initiated a project to provide financial literacy to vendors in 2012. This project was further developed into the “Financial Knowledge to Communities for Life Rolls Forward Project” to provide basic financial, income, and expense management, as well as savings for investment knowledge. The project also teaches low-income and self-employed people in communities, vendors, company employees, and factory workers across the country how to use technology in order to make financial transactions which reduce costs. The project was also open for Ngern Tid Lor’s employees to participate in as volunteers so that they would understand the importance of creating financial opportunities for customers. Since then, we have continued this project every year to create financial literacy opportunities for our customers and local communities.
